Love Letters to the Earth: Tokyo

Love Letters to the Earth: Tokyo

Dear Tokyo,

I have a confession. I’m always jet lagged when I see you no matter how long I stay. But it’s a dreamy kind of jet lag thanks to your good company. You are elegant and a rebel in your own unique way.

I have another confession. I could shack up with you for a while. I’d like to get to know you better but have my cake and eat it too when it comes to other destinations. New York won’t mind. I hope you’re not offended Tokyo.

It still seems strange that walking among the crowds at Shibuya crossing was something you could do without a second thought not so long ago.

This is the fifth installment of my armchair traveling series: Love letters to the earth. Travel in the Time of Coronavirus.
