This image will be included in the Brave New World exhibition which is part of the Aussie Street photography festival at Comber Street Studios in Sydney, Australia running from March 24-26th. It was taken on the Coney Island boardwalk last summer.
According to the organizers of the festival the gist beyond this particular exhibition is: “The years 2020 and 2021 saw life as we know it drastically change. Borders shut, people retreated behind closed doors, the world held its collective breath, and the very notion of ‘street photography’ became an absurd proposition. In the wake of these years of global catastrophe, we invite photographers to submit images made during these lost years that reflect the emotions and spirit of the time and the ‘brave new world’ that has since emerged.”
Wish I could be there in person to attend.
